StackClean is a software-spend analysis and decision-support service. Its outputs are designed to identify areas worth reviewing; they are not promises that a particular dollar amount can or will be saved.

How to read savings figures

Potential opportunities are preliminary and require additional validation. Likely opportunities have stronger supporting information but may still depend on missing contractual, licensing, usage, or implementation facts. Verified calculations reflect stronger evidence or exact-math inputs available to StackClean, but still require the customer to confirm the underlying facts and execute the change successfully.

Customer-entered bills

StackClean generally treats customer-entered software bills as the spend source of truth for analysis. Vendor public pricing may be used as reference information or to calculate plan differences when appropriate. Your contracted or negotiated pricing controls when it differs from public pricing.

Before changing software

Do not cancel, downgrade, consolidate, replace, or materially change business software solely because StackClean identified an opportunity. Confirm affected users and licenses, required features, integrations, security and compliance requirements, data retention, contract and renewal terms, migration costs, workflow dependencies, and business-disruption risk first.

Changing information

Software pricing, packaging, features, entitlements, and vendor terms change frequently. StackClean aims to use current and reasonable information but does not warrant that every vendor fact remains current at the moment you act.

Independent business decision

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on a StackClean recommendation. StackClean does not provide legal, tax, accounting, cybersecurity, compliance, or investment advice.
