Terms of Service
Effective September 18, 2026
These Terms govern use of the StackClean website, Free Software Savings Scan, Complete Savings Plan, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.
What StackClean provides
StackClean analyzes customer-provided software-spend information and produces preliminary or validated recommendations intended to help identify possible software cost-reduction opportunities. Results are informational decision-support tools, not guarantees of savings.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for independently confirming invoices, licenses, entitlements, feature requirements, contracts, renewal dates, security and compliance requirements, integrations, data-retention needs, migration implications, and business impact before changing software.
Purchases
Prices and the scope of a paid Complete Savings Plan are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through our hosted payment provider. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at checkout, purchase terms apply to the specific plan purchased and do not create an ongoing consulting, implementation, procurement, or vendor-management engagement.
No guaranteed outcome
Estimated, potential, likely, or verified savings figures can differ from savings ultimately realized. Vendor pricing, negotiated contracts, taxes, seat eligibility, timing, implementation costs, product capabilities, and business requirements can change. A recommendation to review, downgrade, consolidate, replace, cancel, or keep software is not a substitute for your own operational, financial, legal, security, compliance, or technical review.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit information you lack authority to use, reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law expressly permits it, or use the service unlawfully.
Third-party products
StackClean discusses software supplied by third parties. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. StackClean is not affiliated with or endorsed by those vendors unless expressly stated. Vendor features, pricing, and availability may change.
Intellectual property
StackClean and its original site content, analysis framework, branding, software, and report presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your underlying business information remains yours.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service and may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimers and limitation
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. StackClean disclaims warranties not expressly stated here. To the extent permitted by applicable law, StackClean will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or business decisions made from its output.

Questions about these Terms may be submitted through the contact method published on the StackClean website.
